Dia de los Muertos
There are many things going on this fall in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. For More events, check out our calendar.
Being in the southwest, we are inspired by many of Mexico's Holidays.
After the Halloween parties have died out & trick-or-treaters hang up their costumes, we don't.
Dia de los Muertos is a very big celebration & deal here in Tucson. If you have never participated or have not seen the procession, it's a great year to go. Last year was the biggest yet.
There is much to this Holiday & it is very symbolic. Many Mouths, One Stomach is a Non-Profit organization for this event. Click the link below for more information about The All Souls Procession & to watch video.

Have a safe Holiday.

Group rates?
If you are like me and love to visit exhibits, with or without your families, but don't like the ticket rates. Then, I may just have a solution.
I am toying with the idea of using this group for Group Discount Rates. If enough people are interested, I will proceed with the idea.
There are many educational & interesting exhibits that pass through Tucson. I have gotten excited about many exhibits, but after seeing the ticket amount and doing the math for myself & kids; well it just hurts the pocket book.
King Tut is the latest exhibit that I know my son would L-O-V-E, seeing as he made a mummy of him for a class project this past spring. To think of my son exploring these reproductions of the Egyptian Pharaoh's treasure tomb up close & personal was a delight. The cost to do it was another story.
Group Rates, anyone?

Keep AZ in good thoughts, please.
You have probably heard about the AZ wildfires by now. It's hard to see & hear about our coolest places to vist set a blaze. I personally have very close family in Sierra Vista. I call daily to make sure my sister & her family are well & safe.
She recently asked, "If you were told to evacuate your home, what would you take?". It was thankfully a general question, but the hard reality that it could happen anytime was to close for comfort.
Would you be prepared for a fire in your home? Do you have belongings, you know you would need in a blink of an eye? Food for thought.

Apache National Forest aka AZ White Mountains
It's sad to see our beloved White Mountains in such a state. I personally know many families who were just planning trips this summer to their favorite cool getaway spots up in those mountains; my family included.
Southern Arizona's tempetures can reach scortching triple digits. Many of could picnic up in Mt. Lemon for a weekend, but most of us would find refudge in those crisp clean mountains & make camp fire toasted memories with our families for a good week.
Let's hope this fire gets contained & smothered quickly.

Warning with Jumping Castles
With Spring here & summer not far, jumping castles are a popular part of entertainment for kids at many events.
Please take the necessary pre-cautions, if you are intending on having any type of inflated entertainmant for children at your event.
Be Merry, Be Safe.
